When we speak, we must speak triptychally. What is worth saying should be said only in threes. We cannot say it is; we cannot say it is not; we can only say that it is and is not; is neither and both. A language of threes is not a dialectics, nor a reverse dialectics, but a language of negation: every utterance is posed, recanted, and then dissolved.
